There is always going to be someone prettier, smarter, taller, cooler then me and I am ok with that.
Ice cream always tastes better when you are your pajamas.
That there is ALWAYS two sides to every story.
Life has this funny way of working its way out.
I am unique and there is not another person like me.
Don’t judge people by their appearance.
Dogs/cats/ animals understand love better than most people.
Some people are just toxic and you will need to avoid them.
Telling the truth is hard at first, but after a while its quite addicting.
Poker is a game of chance; there is not much skill involved. For those that think there is, then you have never been beaten on the river.
That our background or circumstances may have influenced who we are, but we are responsible for who we become.
That money is just a number and we can not take it with us when we leave.
That no mater how much I care. Some people just don’t care back.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to getting in my pj’s, wrapped up in my blanket, watching movies, tomorrow my plans include feeling better and Sunday, I want to try to get out in the sun!

One Coupon At A Time

You know, I give my younger sister, Megan, a hard time about her coupons. But after watching her snag some great deals, I figured I should give it a shot. Since I needed some things at the drugstore , thought I would try this out. So I prepared a list of the things I needed and went through the coupons I had. These stores are really sneaky bastards. They tend to have some nice sales to get you in the store in the hopes you will walk aimlessly around, ending up spending way more than you planned. Yup, done this many times myself. But not this time. I had my list, I had a plan and I stuck to it. The store price for these items would be $ 54.50. Being the smarty-pants I am, I did seek out the sales. So the sale price for these items would have cost $ 42.54. Wait, it gets better. With my trusty coupons, some nifty CVS Extra Bucks, I purchased all these items for only $ 28.54. This just goes to show you can save money if you take the time to plan ahead. I know I am not a crafty coupon cutter like Megan. But I do know the last few times I have gone shopping I used coupons. And saved close to $ 40 bucks. So that alone fills up my truck for one week. Every little bit helps! Guess I better stop giving Megan such a hard time huh?

Red Sox

So the Red Sox took two from the Tampa Devil Rays and have seperated themselves from the Rays in the AL Wild Card Race. The Sox are 6 games ahead of the Rays and have a 3 game lead over the Texas Rangers. This month will be an interesting one for the Sox and they must do their best to remain ahead of both these teams if they are to gain access to the MLB playoffs. I honestly do not see the Sox taking over first place over the Yankees. For that to happen the Yankee’s would need to play below .500 ball for the rest of the month, which I do not see happening. So it is the Wild Card the Sox need to win in order to make the playoffs.

Gotta love the playoffs!

1. I feel confused.

2. Chewing gum is always fun.

3. Right now, I can hear these things: AC humming, neighbors closing their shades and the traffic going by on busy Main St.

4. Good thing today is friday and I’m glad I can sleep tomorrow.

5. The last time I cried was two days ago.

6. Going to enjoy this Labor day weekend.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to chilling out, tomorrow my plans include sleeping in past 6am and playing games with friends and Sunday, I want to sleep in!
